Our Story
Green Bird Organics began with a vision: to cultivate food that restores the land while nourishing the people who eat it. Founded by Toby — a first-generation farmer passionate about ecological repair — the farm is built on shared land, collaborative values, and a belief that farming should produce health, not harm.
Green Bird Organics grows on a landscape that was shaped by care before we arrived. The farm was originally founded by Johny — a farmer who nurtured this land and who now offers others the opportunity to build upon that legacy.
We’re proud to be part of a story rooted in cooperation, generosity, and shared vision — and to continue the work of growing good food that heals both people and place.
Our Philosophy
We grow using regenerative practices: compost, cover crops, syntropic planting, and plenty of biodiversity. Everything is certified organic — and grown without synthetic chemicals or long supply chains.
Our farming approach is regenerative, organic, and grounded in relationships with plants, the soil, with each other, and with the community around us.
Our decisions are guided by increasing the quality and quantity of all life.
We believe that real change happens not in isolation, but in collaboration between growers, landholders, eaters, and ecosystems.
A Bigger Picture
We believe food should be fresh, local, nutrient-dense, and accessible. Our mission is to make real food normal again — and show that small farms can be a big part of the solution.
